Location

The RV parking lot is located in the spa gardens of the climatic health resort Ilbeshausen-Hochwaldhausen, gently merging into the green of the spa facilities. Open all year.

Size and amenities

12 parking spaces, stands built on a substructure of reinforced lawn, paved access road. A water and electricity supply station is installed. In the immediate vicinity is the Information House Hochwaldhausen with toilets, a small pond with petting zoo, playground, Kneipp wading pool, minigolf and solar-heated outdoor pool. There are several restaurants in the village. Registration at the Information House. Parking fee: €6.00/day.

Grebenhain

Grebenhain in the middle of the Hohe Vogelsberg Nature Park is the starting point for numerous activities for young and old alike. In addition to hiking and cycling tours, the Hochwaldhausen family outdoor swimming pool is a refreshing place to visit in summer. The Information House in the Kurpark (spa garden) is the starting point for many activities between the climatic health resort of Ilbeshausen-Hochwaldhausen, Hoherodskopf and Taufstein, the highest elevations of the oldest and largest extinct volcano in Europe. The nature park guides take you on a tour through the legends of the Hoher Vogelsberg Nature Park and inform you about the geological conditions and the formation of the "basalt cone" volcano Vogelsberg. The Kletterwald (outdoor climbing forest), the natural minigolf course and the summer toboggan run on the nearby Hoherodskopf adventure mountain round off the offers. Swimming, sailing, surfing, fishing and camping can be enjoyed on the Nieder-Mooser lake not far from Grebenhain.
