GRIMMWORLD Kassel
In 2015 the GRIMM WORLD will be opened in Kassel, a new exhibition about the Brothers Grimm in a purpose-built centre on the Weinberg. It is aimed at all kinds of visitors, whether children or senior citizens, families or school groups, experts or lay people, and covers all interests, from art and language to fairy tales. A wealth of modern exhibition formats ensures “aha” effects, giving opportunity for investigation and active experience.
The GRIMM WORLD will present the world-famous Brothers Grimm in the place where they used to live and work. This is where they collected the children’s and household fairy-tales and began the German dictionary. Valuable original documents will be on display; interactive features will invite visitors to take part, encouraging cultural and intercultural dialogue. The documenta city of Kassel will be enriched by an attractive destination in the city centre, a cultural forum of European significance.

Europe's biggest and unique hill park the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe offers romantic nature and fascinating play of water.
Waterfall displays: Ascension Day until the beginning of October, every Wednesday as well as Sundays and on holidays at 2:30 pm, illuminated play of water: every first Saturday of the month from June to September starting at the beginning of the dusk of the evening.
