Open-Air fairytale play – The Bremen Town Musicians

May – September, Sunday always 12 noon at the Domshof

Who doesn’t know them, the world-wide popular tale of the Bremen Town Musicians from the collection of fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm? The Brothers Grimm passed on their stories in the form of fairy tales, and Bremen created a monument to commemorate them: The Bremen Town Musicians, who, threatened in their home by death, hoped to survive in freedom in Bremen. The bronze statue of the figures is located on the west side of the Bremen Town Hall.

Almost every child has read the fairy tale, but only in the Hanseatic city do the Town Musicians recount their story personally: life-size, open-air and gratis for everyone, at the Domshof. With much jesting and music, the actors make the fairy tale come alive.
