Pied Piper - open-air performance

*** Due to the corona pandemic, the beginning of the season of the open-air performancecannot take place as scheduled and will be postponed indefinitely. **

From mid-May to mid-September every Sunday at 12 noon

One-of a kind: since 1956 Hameln's Pied Piper open air performance has contributed to its celebrated international cultural image in a successful and sympathetic way. Exactly at 12 noon there is an announcement from the Wedding House terrace right in the middle of the old town: "The play begins!" About 70 voluntary amateur actors in historical costumes then present visitors from all over the world the story of how the children of Hameln were coaxed out of the town (according to the version of the Brothers Grimm in "German Legends")

The play lasts approx. 30 minutes and is free of charge.
